Last night debate brought to us the inevitability of an Obama presidency. But does it matter as far as Venezuela is concerned? As far as we can see both candidates pledged to free themselves from the dependency on Venezuelan oil. That they can achieve it in 10 years is another matter, but what is clear is that Chavez has no friends in the next administration.
